500 prominent artistes to perform at cultural events that will be held every day during the three-day Global Investors Summit in Lucknow

Prime Minister┬аNarendra Modi┬аwill throw open the three-day UP Global InvestorsтАЩ Summit (GIS) 2023, here on Friday. He is also scheduled to address a select group of industry captains on the sidelines of the event.
A big media centre has been set up to telecast the event live. The fourth block will host cultural events, while the fifth will feature drone shows. The sixth has been prepared to host B2B meetings and the seventh comprising 11 halls will showcase themed exhibitions.
Prominent artistes, including Bhajan singer Hansraj Raghuvanshi and noted flautist Rakesh Chaurasia, will perform at the event.

Hansraj Raghuvanshi, who belongs to Himachal Pradash, is best known for his devotional songs dedicated to Lord Shiva.The songs of Hansraj Raghuvanshi are a big hit on YouTube and are on everyoneтАЩs lips. His popular bhajans include: тАШMera Bhola Hai Bhandari…тАЩ, тАШShiv Kailasa Ke Vasi…тАЩ, тАШShankara…тАЩ and тАШMain Shiv Ka Shiv MereтАжтАЩ among others. He has performed in events across the country and abroad.

Rakesh Chaurasia, is the nephew of famous flute player Hari Prasad Chaurasia. He has gained fame in India and abroad for carrying forward his familyтАЩs artistic legacy. Rakesh Chaurasia, who hails from Prayagraj, UP, has performed in many cities of the world and has been honoured with many awards.
MathuraтАЩs Vandana will perform тАШPhoolon Ki HoliтАЩ along with Kathak artiste Akash Srivastava from Lucknow.The cultural programmes will also feature folk dances and music performances. The presentation of Bam Rasiya, Mayur, Rai, Diwari, Pidanda, Adivasi, Karma, Faruahi, Dhedhiyan, Natwari, Masak Bean, Dhobia, Badhawa folk dance, Damru Vadan and Tharu will be among the highlights of the programme.
Cultural events will be held everyday during the three-day summit. The names of 500 artistes who are expected to participate in the events are being finalised so that entry passes could be made for them.
